The Cutest Side-Bun You Ever Did See: A Go-To Summer Hairstyle
... Because I love lookin' cute!
I'm a little bit inept in the arena of making my hair do what I want it to do (much like the way I'm inept at cooking fried chicken... which you should read about in my Hub "How NOT to Fry a Chicken" if you haven't already). I figure that there are many other lovely ladies out there who also have this handicap, so when I find a hairstyle that is 1) easy as pie and 2) cute as a button, I love to share!
There is also a conflict of interest that arises in the summertime: way-cute hats versus the not-so-cute hat hair. Well... look no further! This easy hair-do looks adorable under a wicker-type fedora I stole from my little sister (Shh! Don't tell!).
Alright. All you need is a few bobby pins... my hair is pretty thick, but I find that I only really need about six or seven bobby pins. You'll also need three or four hair ties.
Like I said, my hair is fairly thick, but it is also naturally straight. If you have naturally curly hair, 1) I envy you and 2) this style should still work, but the end result obviously won't look like mine (but it'll still be pretty!).
I probably should have been a little clearer about how to do the twist (good thing I'm slightly awkward on camera! Haha...). You're going to want to start twisting, adding hair from the hairline as the twist gets longer. So, you're going to want to start with a small chunk of hair close-ish to where your hair is parted. You're going to then twist a little, grab a piece from the hairline, twist, grab a piece, etc. Hope that clarifies!
And there you have it, folks! Special thanks to Arthur Windermere and Teresa Schultz for helping my not-so-tech-savvy self figure out how to post videos on here. You should definitely check out some of their Hubs :)
Stay beautiful, ladies! (and gentlemen too, I suppose!)

Bonjour, Arthur! That is my greatest goal in life: to create something that would make Jean-Luc Godard weep tears of joy :)

I've really enjoyed your hubs and the different topics you write about. Not only are you able to talk about different topics, but how you present is simply awesome. I love that you put humor into it. Keep up the good work and keep writing! I can't wait for your next hub.

I'm Always Right: Well, then my advice to you is don't wear it. Lol. Thanks anyway for the comment.
I'm Always Righter: Haha... Thanks!
Man that top right picture from behind looks exactly like my best old colleague from 1997-99. She used to do what's in the video all the time.
@I'm, if you spelled your own name wrong four different ways in one sentence, then im is more right, than that. Unless it really is like that.

And thanks for the mention. Now I'd better go before my manly presence distracts your lady readers. Au revoir!
